Uplabdhi “Misha” Chandola Scott, Founder Uplabdhi “ Misha” Chandola  was born and raised in Uttarakhand , India . She holds a Master’s Degree in English from HNB University  and a Bachelors Degree in Education from ICFAI University , Hyderabad .  She worked  as a Project Coordinator with a US based Non Profit and contributed in reforming secondary schools of Uttarakhand. She rigorously engaged herself in mobilizing village communities and empowering them. She has been committed to girls’ education and worked extensively in the rural and urban underserved  communities in Udham Singh Nagar , India. Started her career as a teacher, She realized a girl deserves much more than just curriculum knowledge . A Governor Award winner in Guiding and Scouting , She knows the importance and role  of exposure and exchange activities in the growth of a girl child. Her special focus is empowering underprivileged girls and making them self sufficient in dealing with the world affairs.

Anjali Chandola is a Women Rights activist, she has been awarded by Women Shakti Award in Uttarakhand. She has been a part of a campaign for violence against women “We Can” and represented India in Bangladesh from Uttarakhand. An English lecturer by profession at  Government School, she deals with numerous underprivileged girls on daily basis and has identified a lot of girls, who are now a part of TeachGirls foster care.

 

khyati  Khyati Dobhal  Khyati Dobhal holds a post graduate diploma in management (hr+marketing) from SSIM, Hyderabad. She started her career as a business development executive with an architectural firm and later moved to Deloitte (DSSIPL), a renowned professional services firm as a knowledge analyst. Her work profile involved doing secondary research and creating detailed client profiles. Married for 2 years, She is currently working on her passion for serving the underprivileged girl community in rural India.

 

mannni  Dr. Manjari Shah   Dr. Manjari is an MBBS graduate from Govt. Medical College, Haldwani. She has done her 1 year rotatory internship from Sir Ganga Ram Hospital,New Delhi . She worked as a Medical Officer in Uttarakhand and currently pursuing her M.D as a Radiation Oncologist from New Delhi . She believes in the ideology of empowering girls and not just educating them. Dr. Manjari also runs an online counseling page for HIV infected people and works on the psychology of AIDS patients and their neighborhood .She counsels adolescent girls in various related issues and resolves their unattended problems. Her area of interests are health, education and vocational training.

 

 

Shweta Arora Sh10985508_777708785643016_2482386163735057094_nweta Arora  is Masters in Economics ( NTT , B.Ed , CTET ) from ICFAI University. She  had been engaged in Secondary Schools for 7 years now. She started her career as a teacher  and also  served as an Admission Executive in  Unison World School , India . A mother of a gorgeous daughter herself , she knows the importance of education of a girl child . She doesn’t believe in compromises , when it comes to educating a girl child , be it hers or others . She is a former member of Redcross , S&G and NCC.
